Welcome Center Stammtisch

What is a Stammtisch? It is an old German tradition of a group meeting regularly, usually at a pub or restaurant. A Stammtisch is not a structured meeting, but rather a friendly, casual get-together. You can have a bite to eat or a drink – or not, as you prefer. Each person pays for him/herself and stays for as long as s/he wants.

At the Welcome Center International Stammtisch you can meet up with other researchers at Kiel University. I will also be there to answer your questions about Kiel, the university, living in Germany, or whatever else is on your mind. The Stammtisch is mainly meant for international researchers at CAU, but you can bring along a German colleague as well, if you like ;-)
