Short summary The International Center of Kiel University, the "Lektorat Deutsch als Fremdsprache" and the "Deutsch-Norwegische Studienzentrum" (DNSZ) will offer a German Language Course specifically designed for the needs of students of all subjects, wishing to spend a term at Kiel University or another German University. Emphasis is placed on practical language use. Our intention is to prepare the students for the everyday life at a German university. In addition to the practical language classes we will discuss social, political and cross-cultural topics.

Further information on teaching language Basic and intermediate courses with four levels of proficiency will be offered 18–20 hours of class per week (A I, A II and B I). For students who already did a B2 course, participation is not recommended.

Course content Classes take place at the Lektorat Deutsch. The practical use of German is essential during all classes. Beside the actual learning the course will also introduce you to German culture and studying in Germany.
