Complete integration of international students and graduates into the German job market is the main object of JobStarter. Since: Good welcoming culture does not end with graduation but should include the first steps in the German job market.

On this page we do not only want to introduce JobStarter, but also StuJo, the official portal for your career by Kiel University, which informs about jobs for students, internships, projects and much more.

About the Project

The Project JobStarter should help international students prepare for the professional life in genral and especially in Germany. In every term there will be several events for you - seminars, workshops and others. We're offering to you everything you'll need for the job preparation - application training, individual job profile, soft skills and intercultural competences.

Advising for students

  • Which job?
  • How do I apply for a job in Germany?
  • How should my application documents look like?
  • How can I find a job?
  • Are there possibilities for any volunteering, practical training or student jobs?
